This page contains unused content in Angry Birds Epic. Who could have guessed.

Prototype Build[]

In the December of 2023 "TestFlight Teraleaks", an early build of Angry Birds Epic was uncovered, named “Angry Birds Heroes”. The character artwork was made to mimic the Chrome art style (rather poorly), an incomplete background and the funky music from the original game, which would debut in Golden Egg Level 7.

Unused Sounds[]

Piglette[]

In Angry Birds Epic, there are unused sounds called "piglette_(something)", most likely for a piglette. Most of the sounds sound like Stella.

Developer Console[]

Remnants of a developer console exist in the files, the script DeveloperConsole.cs does exist but everything except some variables and a blank function were removed. There's also remnants of another feature for the Developer Console, A FPS Display. In the final version of the game it's script is present but it's currently unknown how to activate it.

Unused Leftover Localization Assembly[]

Version 1.0.0 (iOS Only) to 1.0.12 have a leftover assembly called Chimera.AngryBirdsHeroes.Localization.dll. Code is present to load them but the class is never referenced. It got removed in an unknown update.

Beta Sprites[]

Beta Pillar[]

Oldpillar

The old pillar in early versions

When the game was released, the Pillar on the top used to have a Mighty Eagle head with a Rovio logo on its beak. In later versions, it got changed to Red's head.

Beta Knight Red[]

Previously, the Knight-class Red had a green feather on his helmet instead of a red one, and in one of the posters, the feather was even yellow and gold. In the later versions, the feather color got changed to red.

Beta Protection Sprite[]

Before the worldwide release of Angry Birds Epic, the sprite used when Red protects his fellow Birds was originally shields circling around the Bird, but now it is a white curved barrier above the Bird.

Old Cutscene[]

Angry Birds Epic had an old cutscene in the game that was pre-rendered and had no movement. However, it was later replaced in an update with the animated version. It is still in the game's code.

1st Level[]

The 1st level of the game originally had just a Stick Pig and you could use only Red (as Chuck was kidnapped). In the latest versions, you fight Pyropig, two Rogues and Bird Catcher and you use Red and Chuck with powerful Classes. After you beat them, Wizpig weakens Red and Chuck's classes and disappears.

Unused Levels[]

It is unknown why the South Beach levels: South Beach - 3 and South Beach - 4 were removed from the game.

South Beach - 3[]

The third level of South Beach.

South Beach - 4[]

The fourth level of South Beach.
