Angry Birds Cinematic Trailer (aka "Angry Birds") is a promotional video for Angry Birds released by Rovio Entertainment on February 3, 2010. It was produced by Kombo Studios, who would later produce Angry Birds Toons. The video takes place during the events of Poached Eggs.

Enjoy the epic adventures of Angry Birds as they battle against the army of the Bad Piggies, ruled by the fearsome and ridiculous King Pig. The Bad Piggies are out to steal the eggs from the birds, and that just puts our fiery fowl in a rage.
Plot[]
It's story time!
The opening card begins with a classic-looking ROVIO presents logo, then zooming in past the R to show "Angry Birds - featuring ANGRY BIRDS", with a silhouette of Red.
The story begins with Red, Chuck, and Blue Jay taking much care of their eggs and in the distance, a Minion Pig, Foreman Pig, and King Pig are eating grass as food but King Pig is not enjoying it; he spits it out. Hungry, King Pig notices the Birds and the Eggs and he, Minion Pig, and Foreman Pig try to form a plan to steal them. Red sees a mosquito on top of one of the eggs and he tries to kill the mosquito, with Bomb and Chuck joining in. Meanwhile, King Pig cannot stop imagining cooking the eggs and tries to imagine what would life be with omelettes for himself and no eggs for the birds. By the time they finish killing the mosquito, Bomb, Blue Jay, Chuck, and Red look at the nest and scream in shock as they are surprised to see that the eggs are missing. They then see King Pig's footprints which lead them to him and the Foreman Pig roasting their eggs to make an omelette for every pig. The birds are extremely angered, and they stare the two pigs down in a dramatic fashion that triggers a massive explosion (either from Bomb or out of random), giving the pigs the rage warning to hand back their eggs. Some gameplay then is seen of Poached Eggs 1-18, and Poached Eggs 3-10, and a website link to the website.

Trivia[]
- A prototype version of the trailer depicts a few notable differences, such as a K.O. text when Red hits the mosquito, different pig designs (even having Corporal Pig replacing the Minion Pig), and a Minion Pig replacing Foreman Pig in the shot of the eggs getting roasted.
- The Rovio logo in the trailer would later be recycled for Angry Birds & the Mighty Eagle and the Summer Pignic Short Movie. The former retains the same music from here, whilst the latter uses a completely different theme.
- The music heard when the closeup of the empty nest is shown is the stock “Mystery” sound effect/music cue from Apple iMovie.
