Tatooine is the first episode of Angry Birds Star Wars, and it contains 40 levels. In this episode, Chewbacca is not unlocked yet, despite being present along with Han Solo.
Tatooine must be beaten to unlock Death Star, Hoth, Path of the Jedi, Cloud City, Moon of Endor and Death Star 2. (Consoles: Boba Fett Missions, Exclusive Levels)
Cutscenes[]
Level 1-1: The birds go to the pigs' main lair. Two Storm Pigtroopers and Darth kidnap Leia while R2-D2 and C-3PO escape and go to Tatooine. Luke Skywalker comes across three Jawas, who give him C-3PO and R2-D2.
Level 1-5: Luke falls in the floor from the attack of the Tusken Raiders, but they run away when Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives to rescue Luke.
Level 1-9: Luke is given a lightsaber but he couldn't manage it right as he accidentally set the walls and floor on fire with the lightsaber's sparks.
Level 1-17: Luke and Obi-Wan meet Han Solo and Chewbacca, who is drinking. Greedo spies on the group from behind, but Han blasts Greedo with his blaster.
Level 1-25: The Birds get away from the Stormtroopers and escape Tatooine.
Level 1-40: The Birds find the Death Star and are surprised.

Boss[]
There are no known bosses in this episode. However, a TIE Fighter is seen at the final level, which shoots lasers at the left wing, it is currently unknown if the TIE Fighter is a Mini-Boss or a regular enemy, but it is worth noting that this TIE Fighter is the only one to shoot lasers in the entire game.
In Star Wars[]
In the Star Wars film series, Tatooine served as Anakin and Luke Skywalker's home world. It was a desert planet that had frequent sandstorms. The majority of inhabitants were poor and farmed moisture and sold mechanical parts for a living. Tatooine has been looked down upon by most other planets, because of its high criminal activity. Activities included gambling, robbery, piracy, and more. Some areas on Tatooine were ruled by a species known as the Hutts, most of them known to commit numerous crimes.
Trivia[]
- 1-1 through 1-25 use the gameplay as established in Angry Birds, while 1-26 through 1-40 use the Angry Birds Space gameplay.
- 1-26 through 1-40 actually take place in the destroyed Alderaan, rather than Tatooine.
- The appearance of a lone TIE Fighter pig in 1-40 is an allusion to the movie, where Luke and the others follow a lone TIE Fighter from the destroyed Alderaan to the Death Star.
- Just like with Pig Bang in Angry Birds Space, Terence is involved in the story, but is not found in any levels.
- A similar episode, Escape to Tatooine, is found in Angry Birds Star Wars II.
