Star Wars Characters are the characters seen in Angry Birds Star Wars. The birds are based on the Star Wars characters from the Original Trilogy, the trilogy that includes A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
The Bird Side
Luke Skywalker Bird

Red is Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars game. Originally, like in the previous games he did not have a power, but later gained his father's blue lightsaber. He uses a lightsaber in a spinning motion, similar to a shuriken to break blocks, as seen in a gameplay trailer. If Path of the Jedi is completed, then Luke will gain a green lightsaber, and clothing that resembles Luke's from Return of the Jedi. He seems to be more powerful than Red Bird was in Angry Birds. Name comes from the Angry Birds Online Shop. According to the official Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, Red Skywalker is a true member of the Bird Rebels and a True Hero. He is feisty and trains to become a Jedi Bird to help save the galaxy from the Pork Side. Red is very clumsy and often drops his lightsaber and bumps into other birds. He is proud of his "blond feathers" as described in the book and Yoda is his teacher, even though Obi-Wan was his teacher as well. He is a fast learner and draws his lightsaber very quickly. He bought R2-EGG2 and C-3PYOLK from the Jawa Birds. Skywalker is a brave pilot and is experienced in flight, however he does not land his X-Wing very well.
He has also been known has Red Skywalker and sometimes Luke Skysquawker.
Han Solo Bird

Chuck is Han Solo in the Star Wars game. His ability is to shoot a red laser 3 times from his blaster based on Han Solo's. He is turned to carbonite in Cloud City. Name comes from the Angry Birds Online Shop.
In the Moon of Endor update, Princess Stella melted the carbonite Chuck was frozen into. Chuck was given an upgrade to make him shoot more powerful blue lasers.According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his game name is "Chuck "Ham" Solo". He is a junk food smuggler and accociates with criminals. He is considered a hero who helps the bird rebels. He is very good at gambling and won the Mighty Falcon (his spaceship) in a game of cards with Lando Classarian. (see below) He is confident and thinks he is cool, but others do not think the same. Some think he has no idea whatsoever of what he is doing at all. He is very good with using a blaster and makes missing a target almost impossible. Solo only does what he wants, so he gets aggrovated when Princess Stella will order him around. It is said that he is confused that he has an love intrest in her. His home planet is Corellia and has the skill of dodging obstacles, and is "Bird Buddies", according to the book, to Terebacca.

Terence is Chewbacca in the Star Wars game. He can cause an earthquake as a side effect to his ability. He is bigger, and hairier than the normal Big Brother Bird. Name comes from the Angry Birds Online Shop.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Encyclopedia, his name is "Terebacca" and is Chuck Solo's co-pilot and mechanic to the Mighty Falcon. He hates keeping clean. He is apparently big enough to knock a planet out of its orbit by landing on it, and like Han, he smuggles junk food. Like Terrence, Terebacca is the "strong, silent type" and his language sounds like grunting to the other birds. Only Han Solo is able to understand him, which is rather strange as C3-PYOLK speaks all languages. His nickname is "Fuzzball" but only allows Chuck Solo to say it. His home planet is Kashyyyk and his special skill is to "be humungous". His ally is Chuck "Ham" Solo.
Princess Leia Bird

Stella is Princess Leia in the Star Wars game, using a blaster as a tractor beam to pull over pig structures, blocks, and pigs themselves. This power can be upgraded allowing her to pull more blocks and heavier structures. Despite what her sprite sheet looks like she actually has a white tail. Name comes from the Angry Birds Online Shop. She becomes playable once the player has unlocked Hoth.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, her official name is "Princess Stella Organa". She is one of the Bird Republic leaders and wants to overthrow the Pork Side". She doesn't mind getting dirty and has a "Gravitational Feild Disruptor". With her tractor beam, she can "adjust the weight of any object then fling it at her piggy foes." She is stubbron, daring, and plucky. She expects everybody to obey her brothers. She is eagle-eyed and aims well. Her home planet is Alderaan and is a sharp shooter. Her ally is Chuck "Ham" Solo.

According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, C-3PYOLK is C-3PO's official name. Unlike the rest, C-3PYOLK never gets agry. He is specialy programed to keep peaceful and like Matilda loves plants and enjoys gardening. He speaks many languages and all of them politely. He easily gets scared and likes staying shiny and having his nuts and bolts shut tight. He is a protocol droid and has a transalating skill. His ally is R2-D2. When escaping in the Escape Pod from the Pork Side, R2-D2 makes the journey less scary for C-3PYOLK.

R2-D2 is the Egg. His ability is to electrify pigs with a beam similiar to R2-D2's electrifying beam seen in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is R2-EGG2. He is a devoted droid servant to the Jedi Birds and can act shell schocked sometimes, but others know that he will never let them down. he can talk to computers in a special language that others cannot understand. He looks harmless but hides The Egg, which contains the force. Both the Jedi and Sith are looking for it, and Yoda hid it inside R2-EGG2 to keep it safe. R2-EGG2 can record messages, which is used by Princess Stella to send a distress call to Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Bird

Bomb represents Obi-Wan Kenobi. He can use the Light Side of the Force to push nearby blocks away and towards surrounding Pigs (Possibly the Force Push from the Star Wars universe). Once Level 2-25 of the Death Star is completed, Obi-Wan Kenobi's Force receives an upgrade.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Obi-Wan Kaboomi. He still apparently has the ability to explode, as also seen in the cinematic trailer. Like Bomb, he cannot always control his temper. He is a Jedi Warrior and later teacher, determined to protect The Egg at all costs. He trained Redkin Skywalker and Red Skywalker in the force. He knows a lot about the force, and even can apparently use his eyebrows to deflect small objects. A Jedi follows the path of peace, but he secretly enjoys blasting things. His home planet is Coruscant and his allies are Chuck "Ham" Solo and Red Skywalker.
Before the player begins Hoth, Obi-Wan is declared dead, defeated in his battle against Darth Vader on the Death Star. He continues to support the heroes through the remainder of the game, possibly as a spirit.

Lando Carlissian (also known as Lando Bird) is a bird who first appeared in the Cloud City update of Angry Birds Star Wars. He became a playable character in version 1.3.0, which also introduced the powerups from the Facebook Version of Angry Birds Star Wars to the mobile version. During the Death Star 2 chapter, Lando's blaster is upgraded into blue lasers, which are slightly more powerful than the red lasers.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Lando Birdissian. He has charm and uses it to make himself rich. He is a suave smuggler, just ilke Han, and one of the greatest gamblers in the galaxy. Although he is charming, he has a heart of gold. He betrays the Rebels but then betrays the Pork Side again. He gambled and won Cloud City. His clothing is made from the finest materials bought by money and neatly grooms his facial hair. He is a Baron Administrator of Cloud City and is responsible of keeping it safe. He is responsible for turning Chuck "Ham" Solo to carbonite. His home planet is unknown and has the ability to smooth talk. His ally is Chuck "Ham" Solo.
Rebel Pilot Birds

It is known that Rebel Pilots are the Blue Birds. In the official gameplay trailer, it was revealed that the Rebel Pilots have the ability to be divided into three, just like in the previous 4 games, but now they can split even after being hit, although this does not do much damage, this can be useful after being hit with a laser. After their power is upgraded, they can cause small explosion around them when they hit.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official name or term is Blue Squadron, or Pilot Birds. They fly in the formation of one, then split into three to confuse the enemy. They are reliable and brave and dedicated into fighting the sith. It takes years to become a member of the Blue Squadron, and you have to be "Blue". Their helmets are worn with pride and makes other birds envious of them. The orange line on their helmets help them see each other.

Yoda does not resemble any of the prexisting birds. It seems to be a new bird created specifically to represent the old Jedi Master, although his shape seems to resemble an egg.
According to art director Toni Kysenius, Yoda was originally based on the Blue Birds, but was redesigned to look more like a wise owl. He is not playable, but in the optional Path of the Jedi chapter, he appears as a background character to be a mentor for the Birds (Red, Blues, Chuck, and Obi-Wan). He becomes playable in Angry Birds Star Wars II.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his name is simply Yoda Bird. He is a respected jedi master and one of the wisest beings in the galaxy. However, he can sometimes act a little absent-minded. Only Yoda knows where The Egg is hidden, and wants to tell Red Skywalker but does not think he is ready. He wears the same robes all the time. When it comes to combat, Yoda is very skillful with a lightsaber. He uses full might of the force to outwit his opponents. Yoda proves to be a tough teacher by training Red Skywalker. His adopted planet is Dagobah and his special skills are Wisdom and Lightsaber. His ally is Red Skywalker, even though Obi-Wan and Quail-Gon were also meaningful.
Mighty Millennium Falcon

Mighty Millennium Falcon is the powerful item in Angry Birds Star Wars represented by Mighty Eagle. In fact, you given an egg with a tracker installed to summon it. It's power is to shoot 9 long lasers. In the app, you have to pay to get it, the promo code to get 10 Mighty Falcons, the achievement you meant, or in the Daily Reward. In the Facebook app, it is unlocked by the achievement you meant, you will buy at the shop by your enough coins, or in the Daily Reward also. Its owner is Chuck "Ham" Solo and was previously owned by Lando. It can travel at Warp Speed and has many gadgets. It breaks down when it is least expected to. Pigs are fooled by the Falcon's overall appearance and thinks it is a peice of junk.
The Pork Side

Darth Vader's role is played by Red. Vader is the leader of the Stormtrooper pigs, based on the Empire from the Star Wars universe. He can move bricks around with the Dark Side of the Force in a Boss Battle.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Lard Vader. He is the most power hungry military commander out of everyone in the galaxy. He is desperately searching for The Egg, which can help him become emperor. Millions of the pigs look up to Vader and don't realize he is actually a bird. He was in fact originally Redkin Skywalker before converting to the dark side. He is short tempered and short in patience as well. He stands on 2 pigs to have a much taller appearance. Lard Vader captures Princess Stella, his own daughter, for information about The Egg, but she does not give it to him. His home planet is Tatoooine, like Red Skywalker, and has no allies and considers everyone an enemy. He owns his own TIE Fighter that is faster than the standard. He wished for his TIE Fighter to look like him in order to startle his enemies. It is larger and heavier than regular TIE Fighters.
- Darth Vader will be shown every times you fail a level.
- In Death Star 2, he appears every level since level 6-26. It is still necessary to defeat him, but he cannot repel objects.
- Dummy Darth Vader is not necessary to destroy to complete a level. Dummy Vader in Path of the Jedi level 31 is almost impossible to be killed.
- Voodoo Darth Vader's weapon, a wooden sword, also slightly resembles Sir Bucket Pig's wooden sword in the Piggy Tales episode Epic Sir Bucket.
- Darth Vader is only playable in 6-30, and not in any other level in Angry Birds Star Wars except for the sequel. This was done in order to prevent cheating on other levels.
Tusken Raider Pig

The Sand People A.K.A Tusken Raiders from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope are represented by Pigs wearing the clothing worn by them. They aren't too much of a challenge to kill as the structures they usually appear on are most of the time weak. Overall, simply toppling down their structure is usually enough to kill them when they fall to their death.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official name is confirmed Tusken Raiders. They are dangerous desert-dwelling pigs who travel around the remotest areas of the planet Tatooine. They are well known for stealthing around enemies and then attacking them. They have ambushed Red Skywalker, only to be driven away by Obi-Wan Kaboomi. They wear heavy robes and bandages to protect themselves for the 2 Tatooine suns.

The Pigtroopers are the main members of the Pig Empire that fights against the birds. They have the ability to shoot lasers from their blasters at the birds to knock them off course, although they nessecarily do not actually fling themselves on the slingshot.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official names are Pigtroopers. They are mindless and clumsy. They rampage across the galaxy for junk food for Emperor Piglatine. They wear white armor which ironicaly makes them easy to spot and to destroy. They used to work for the Rebels but were lured to the pork side. They are trained to not question orders and have no ideas of their own. They are easy to take by suprise, and they never completely understand given orders.
Death Star Trooper Pigs

Death Star Pigtroopers wear helmets kind of like Helmet Pig's, but wider. they appear throughout Death Star.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official names are "Pig Star Trooper". Pig Star troopers are an elite band of specially selected soldiers who carry out important duties. They operate the Pork/Pig Star's most deadly weapons. They have the most comfortable quaters and are fiercly loyal to Lard Vader and the Pork Side. They know that Lard Vader will eventually destroy them if anything goes wrong with the Pork/Pig Star. They always wear dark uniforms.
Imperial Officer Pigs

Imperial Officer pigs look like Minion Pigs, but wear a hat and an Imperial Officer uniform. They appear throughout Death Star.
Viper Probe Droid

Viper Probe Droids, also called Probe Droids, Sith Probe Droids, Probots, Imperial Probe Droids or Battle Probe Droids, are a type of robotic pigs first appearing on the fourth level of Hoth. Viper Prope Droids are always near Death Star Troopers and Imperial Officer Pigs, who are controlling them.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official names are Imperial Probe Droids. They are sneaky and secret mechanical machines programmed to fly around the galaxy in search of the Bird Rebels' hideouts. When they find a Rebel base, they send back pictures and data to the Pork Side. It was an Imperial Probe Droid that discovered the secret base in Hoth. If they are captured, they have the ability to self destruct. They have special tools to gain access to hidden entrances and gadgets to attack once provoked.
Boba Fett Pig

Boba Fett is a pig that first appears in Cloud City he is played by an unknown pig. He has a jet pack and a blaster.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Boba Fatt. He is a ruthless bounty hunter specialy trained to hunt birds by zooming around with his jetpack. Boba is a clone of Jango Fatt, and inherited his father's spaceship and arsenal of weapons. Like Terebacca, he hates cleaning. He is determined to seek revenge due to his father's death by the Rebels. He was the one to freeze Chuck "Ham" Solo in carbonite. His homeworld is Kamino and he has a special skill of hunting and capturing. His allies are Jabba the Hogg and Jango Fatt.

King Pig takes the role of the Emperor. He is the main antagonist and final boss of the game. He is seen in a Google+ Hangout poster. He is also seen in a poster showing members of the Empire, and an Angry Birds Star Wars II animation.
He appears to wear the King Pig's crown from Angry Birds Toons, rather than the crown from the actual preceding games in the Angry Birds series. Name comes from Pigtroopers description in Angry Birds Online Shop.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Darth Swindle, or Emperor Piglatine. He is the evil leader of the Pig Empire and is extremely dangerous, as he has electric powers. He uses the force to increase his own powers. He shoots Sith Lightning from his nose. He persuades Anakin to join the Pork Side. His home planet is Naboo and is allies wth Lard Vader.
You can fight Emperor Piglatine in the last level of Death Star 2. If the bars on his spinning chair are full, Emperor Piglatine will produce Sith Lightning, then spin around, causing his chair to change its height. Hit him with objects or birds to empty all the glowing bars, then hit him as many times as you can with various objects and birds.
Grand Moff Tarkin

Grand Moff Tarkin is the Moustache Pig in the game. He debuts in the Death Star levels and he appeared ever since.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, Grand Moff Tarkin is the Pork Star Commander. He develops the idea of how to raise the Pig Empire. He is needlessly cruel and threatens to blow up birds' home planets. He is orderly and always is alert and pays attention. He was the one in charge of building the Pig Star.
Dr. Evazan, who originally appeared in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope alongside Ponda Baba. Evazan appears in the Cinematic Trailer as a pig in the cantina who doesn't seem to like Red (Most likely because Red accidently shoved Ponda into a pickle jar), same with Ponda.
Ponda Baba, as well as his friend Dr. Evazan, both originally appeared in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. In the Cinematic Trailer, Ponda and Evazan appear as pigs and don't seem to like Red (Most likely because Red accidently shoved Ponda into a pickle jar, causing a pickle to be in Ponda's mouth.) In the original movie, Ponda's arm is chopped off by Obi-Wan. In the trailer, the only thing that recieved damage from Obi-Wan's Lightsaber was the pickle in Ponda's mouth, possibly censorship, or the fact that they have no arms, or both. He appeared in a toy set along with Greedo.
Greedo is a bounty hunter. He only apeared in a cutscene, spying on Chuck Solo, and is then seen being shot by him, like in the movie. Because he died of this in the movie, he didn't appear again. He has appeared in a toy set.
In the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Greedork. He is a vicious bounty hunter. The creepy animal is sent around the galaxy by Jabba the Hogg to do dangerous missions. Greedork often succeeds. He is paid in junk food if he does happen to succeed. He has a good sense of smell and hearing. He is usually to sent out to track down others who do not keep their promises to Jabba. His father was named Greedork as well. His home planet is Rodia and his ally is Jabba. He is shot and killed by Chuck "Ham" Solo.
Jawas are birds who love to do nothing but scavenging. They do not resemble any of the pre-existing birds, much like Yoda. They only serve as supporting characters in the storyline. In the comic we can see a Jawa bird holding the Eggs in a basket. They have been seen in the Cinematic Trailer.
In the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official name is Jawa Birds. They are on the Pork Side section which is rather strange, as Jawas are portrayed as birds, and even play as enemies to the Pork Side in the second Star Wars game. They are buisness people, and shell scrap and electronic goods. They never take their hoods off and are famous for smelling awful. They live in Tatooine and are allies with other Jawas. They travel through deserts with an enormous sand-crawlers. They were the ones to sell C-3PYOLK and R2-EGG2 to Red Skywalker.
The Imperial Guards
The guards of the Emperor can be seen in an Angry Birds Star Wars image guarding Piglatine.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official name is Hog Gaurd. The Hog Guard are Emporer Piglatine's personal protectors. They are tough and firece and ready to defend their master with their sharp forks. They wear red robes and under that have more body armor, which is red. Piglatine only picks the most skillful and gifted memberss to be members of his Hog Guard. Their helmets are always polished and shiny and their forks can peirce almost everything.
Ewoks are non-playable animals in the Moon Of Endor episode that don't resemble birds or pigs. They are furry, unlike all the other birds/pigs except Terebacca.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official name are Ewok Birds. They can loudly sing and use catapults. They squack louder and louder when excited. They are most noisiest when they meet Bird Rebels. They can actually severely damage your hearing by their screeches. They are friendly to the Birds and fly in large flocks. Nobody other than other Ewoks (aside from C-3PYOLK) can actually understand what they are saying. Their home planet is Endor and are allies with any Bird Rebel.
He appears in the 1st cutsence of Death Star II and the one after 6-15.
Jabba the Hutt
Jabba the Hutt is a large slug-like creature with a pig snout. He captured Han Solo and made Princess Leia as a slave, until Luke Skywalker rescued them and defeated Jabba. He is also playable in Angry Birds Star Wars II.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, his official name is Jabba the Hogg. He is a greedy crime boss and steals anything to eat from anyone other than himself. He does not need to hide like most criminals, he has so much power he live like a king in a palace. He is surrounded by bodyguards and glaves. He has no skeleton, similarly to a slug. He loves feeding his captives to the Sarlac, or in this case Lardsack, the only thing that is hungrier than he is. Jabba operates behind Lard Vader and hides his actions so Vader cannot see. He likes hanging out with Greedork, as Greedork is extremely weird-looking, it makes Jabba look more handsome. His home planet is Nal Hutta and he can eat extremely fast. His allies are Boba Fatt and Greedork.
