I know.
All of you are tired about me talking about Angry Birds Stella.
But it really isn't fair! Think about it, look at the quality of Stella and look at the other games in the series. In my opinion, Stella was the most worthwhile playing. While sure, the Pop! game is still going on, it isn't even part of their own series anymore.
I really enjoyed the concept of the birds having their unique personalities, and why Rovio didn't want to continue with those amazing characters i'll never know. I mean, sure, the characters now are okay, but we don't even know anything about them, nor are they actually likeable.
Angry Birds Stella was by far the best series, why discontinue it? (Unless they want to do something even greater with the series) What I see now is just one big cash grab. Look what they did to this series- Lunchboxes, Comics, Plushes, Telepods, 200 dollor customized Stella Laptop Bags, all for absolutely nothing. So much awesome character development to characters that don't even talk (true kudos to Rovio for that) all wasted away. Sure, the animation series is still going on but look what they did to that! There's not even a plot anymore. It's like they're trying to just throw so much potential straight out the window. Look how devestating the last episode of the first season was. Now, compare that to the finalie of Angry Birds Toons Season 1. I think we all know which one was better. Clearly the Stella episode.
And what about all those Angry Birds Cutscenes? Right. Pigs steal eggs. It doesn't always have to be that. Look how far Stella has gone to give us a meaningful plot - Exploring the hidden treasures of Golden Island, the mystery of the Golden Egg, where these characters came from, how the flock is going to get their friend Gale back- Seems more meaningful then having eggs stolen. Sure, one time is great but every single time??? These must be the worst parents in the entire universe!
And I know i'm ranting horribly, but let's be honest. You want to know what happens next in the Stella story. You're engaged into it- The levels are fun (with more strategy involved), there's cutscenes, you can unlock collectables (Did I say, for free? Yes, you don't need to buy it in-app), and oh right, INFINATE LEVELS.Â
Now, look at Angry Birds. You need to buy power-ups with your own money to pass the level, there's too many characters to remember, Rovio neglects characters like Hal, and Hal, and Hal, and the levels are boring, and almost impossible. You need to watch ads to recieve lives, there's so many limits, and they pop out 80 levels every week whereas in Stella, we get levels every 10 months. Maybe 1 level if we're lucky.
There hasn't even been a content-update since the game even came out.
Angry Birds Pop! is now impossible.
If we're never getting this game back I at least want to know why. Why, why is Rovio leaving their fans in the dark, why all this development for nothing, why going back to the same characters with pointless plots with boring animations? Every single toons episode is pointless! Look at the beauties of Angry Birds Stella Season 1, (Season 2 is horrible, by the way) and compare that to everything of Angry Birds Toons. It's unbelievable.
Come on.
