Transformers Characters are the birds and pigs featured in Angry Birds Transformers. All the birds and pigs are based on the Transformers characters in G1, with the exceptions of Nemesis Prime, Bumblebee, Lockdown, and Airachnid.

Autobirds[]

Optimus Prime[]

Optimus is a charismatic leader whose courage and compassion inspire everyone he meets. He's brave, powerful and wise.

If he has one weakness it's that he's always focused on the well-being of his fellow Autobirds. Also, he's straightforward and to the point - so don't expect him to crack any jokes. And he sometimes loses his temper, too.

Optimus isn't driven to fight by hatred or vengeance, but a desire to achieve freedom for all and end the destruction the EggBots are causing.

Actually, fighting against the EggBots is causing Optimus real problems. They're the Eggs - so they have to be protected at all costs, right? But, they're destroying everything and must be stopped.

Optimus is a good, all-round fighter, with no major weaknesses. With his balance of firepower, toughness, and speed he's able to take on any situation.

His weapon takes a short time to hit its target, so it's best to focus your fire on one threat at a time. It may not do the most damage but it never overheats or needs to reload, so just hold the screen.

His Energon overcharged weapon is enormously powerful, but Energon is volatile, so he takes a lot more damage, too!

Energon Optimus fires three lasers at once, and the weapon has a super quick reload time. Like the regular Optimus, you can focus on one enemy at a time, or, if powerful enough, you can swipe across the screen and deal with a spread of damage.

Epic Optimus[]

Bling bling! Check out this bad boy's gold paint job! Whoever said that money can't buy taste clearly hasn't seen this tricked out golden robot! Some say Epic Optimus is gold because he's a rare special edition, others say he tricked himself out for a career i hip hop. Rumors also have it that he stands on a battlefield, burning enemies with reflected sunlight like Archimedes. All I know, is that he's EPIC! An epic character deserves an epic weapon! Epic Optimus is the only Transformer who's epicness can turn into a tractor-beam into a weapon. He pulls enemies & blocks towards him - Perfect for toppling towards or getting a closer look at your enemy. Breaking things over your own head might seem cool, but it can be bad for your health. If you value your own health, make sure to change target before the things that you are pulling towards you smash into your face.

Blurr[]

Hi i'm Blurr i'm without doubt the fastest most furions angry autobird around. I'm fast talking, fast thinking, fast driving and fast fring. You get the idea... Can't stop, got togo faster!!! Beep, Beep.

Yap, that's Blurr alright. Let's slow things back down. Too fast for his own good that one! Althrough, if you ever nead a message delivered fast, he's your guy. Not only is his weapon fast firing, he is known to travel so fast that it seems like the rest of the world isin slow motion! All this rapid movement builds up an appettile fast, which requires both energon and most importantly candy! Nom Nom.

Blurr is very different from the other incarnations of Red in the game. Instead of a truck, he is a car. A very fast, futuristic, floating car. And by very fast, I mean really really fast. He's in fact so fast that every time you switch to vehicle mode, everything starts moving in slow motion! So wouldn't Chuck have been a better choice to portray this character? Maybe...

General Optimus Prime[]

War has broken out on Piggy Island! The Autobirds now not only have to watch out for the Eggbots, they also have to fight the Deceptihogs, who (surprise surprise) turned against them! Optimus Prime has (obviously) been chosen as the right bot to lead the Autobirds in this legendary battle and now goes by the name of General Optimus Prime.

Optimus Maximus[]

Optimus Maximus is currently the only combiner with all components as individual characters in the game, being comprised of Optimus Prime, Mirage, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Prowl, and...sometimes Rodimus.

Their weapon is a mixture of Optimus Prime's and Ironhide's weapons, firing two bolts followed by three beams, and like Mirage, they can turn invisible for a little while. Strangely, they don't have a special attack, unlike Devastator, Superion and Menasor. At the time of this writing, the lack of a special ability will disable the transform button for other characters in a Spark Run if they are the first character.

Bumblebee[]

Being zapped by the EggSpark transformed more than just Chuck's body. He used to be ultra-competitive and desperately striving to prove his skills, but now he prefers to help others show their own powers.

Naturally, this change has confused the other Autobirds - they're just waiting for him to suddenly snap and do something crazy!

As one of the smallest, scout Autobirds, Bumblebee often finds himself in trouble. He tries his best, but for some reason that he can't figure out, his habit of acting without thinking often gets him into tricky situations.

But don't worry - his bravery, smarts, and speed haven't let him down yet! He loves a good adventure.

Bumblebee's weapon is rapid firing but low damage, making it great at taking out wooden tower blocks, but poor at tougher enemies and stone blocks. Best to transform and use his extreme speed to outrun bigger threats.

He's also great against flying and falling pigs, and at shooting down incoming missiles.

Rodimus[]

Fast, headstrong and impatient, Rodimus is the perfect match to be mashed up with Chuck!

Rodimus can't stand to be in one place for too long, which is probably why it took the Autobots so long to find him! As soon as they located where he was, he'd moved on to smash pigs somewhere else!

At first glance, Rodimus might seem immature, but he's more than capable of stepping up to the plate and leading the Autobots if Optimus Prime is otherwise engaged. Life as a Prime is stressful though, so he's more than happy to let Optimus take the lead whenever he returns.

Rodimus's gun reflects his fiery personality. Great balls of fire are flung towards the target. These fireballs don't do much initial damage but will burn over time. Use this to your advantage- Move onto the next target while the first is still burning!

Make sure to dodge whatever is being shot back! Things which are on fire can still be a threat.

Energon Bumblebee[]

The Energy Egg transformed not only Chuck's body. Previously, he acted alone and sought to manifest himself with all his might, but now he is more trying to help his friends develop . Naturally, such changes in character confused the rest of the Autobirds: they constantly expect that he will eventually fall off and finally fly off the coils. At any moment ... At any second ... As one of the smallest Auto Birds, Scout Bumblebee constantly gets into trouble. He is trying very hard, but for some reason his habit of climbing ahead constantly pulls him into difficult situations. But do not worry - his courage, ingenuity and speed have never failed! And in general, in life there must be a place for adventure, right? Go! His weapon overloaded with Energon has incredible power, but Energon is very explosive, so that he himself takes more damage.

Cliffjumper[]

Cliffjumper is a warrior at heart always looking forward for his next fight. When confronted with Deceptihogs he's known to belt out "let me at 'em!" or "look at Megatron. I'm gonna blast that smile off his faceplate." Like chuck he's quite impulsive and always needs to be doing something and can never stop moving, both in his mind and in body.

Cliffjumper is one powerful warrior. His intimidating red paint and long sharp bull horns are very well known to scare off Deceptihogs easily, as well as his catchphrase: “Let me at ‘em!” And he is a Volkswagen Beetle in vehicle mode. Yeah. Anyways, Cliffjumper fires a salvo of missiles that fly to the target in a very wobbly way. And boy, are they destructive!

Grey Slam Grimlock[]

You might call Grimlock the 'strong, silent type,' except he's really not silent at all. He loves to roar and smash and stomp and zap things with his laser and do anything else that's noisy.

Grimlock doesn't like authority or taking orders (unless the order is to smash stuff up), but in the end he always comes through for his team-mates.

Grimlock is strong and brave, but also slow and clumsy. His direct, 'smash anything that gets in the way' attitude makes him an excellent asset on the battlefield, just don't expect him to do anything sneaky. But what do you expect? He's a dinosaur.

His weapon can be used to sweep across the screen, smashing ice blocks or weak threats as it goes. Or you can hold the beam on a single target to burn through it.

Either way, you need to watch the weapon doesn't overheat and shut down. If that happens you just have to wait for it to cool - down.

Trypticon[]

What's more dangerous the a robot-stompy-dinosaur like Grimlock? Turns out not much, actually. But one thing that 15 more dangerous is a robot-stompy-dinosaur that's also a Deceptihog!

Trypticon [which is Latin for 'Oops, I just accidentally stepped on that'] is like Grimlock, only without the subtiety or table manners. If you want something squashed flat he's your, err, dinosaur, but cunning plans or sneaking around? Not so much.

Being so big and stompy means Trypticon uses up a lot of Energon fuel. Those rumbles and roars you hear before Trypticon bursts into action aren't him growling - they're his always hungry stomach.

As Trypticon, he is very different than other Grimlocks. He fires three to four black holes at a time similar to Megatron. Trypticon acts like a Deceptihog (Because Trypticon is based on a Decepticon). He belongs to "The Cybertronians" squad.

Heatwave[]

Heatwave the Fire-Bot Bird is absolutely huge and is sort of the opposite of Grimlock. He is silent, but also destructive.

He's massively strong and tough - able to smash through anything in his way - but also able to silently appear right behind you like he walked into the shadows.

Heatwave is gruff and grumpy. But on the inside, he's dedicated to caring for his team and is absolutely focused on the mission.

His weapon is powerful against towers and slow enemies, but it takes a long time to fire, so it's best to transform and drive away from airborne enemies.

Don't be afraid to take a few hits when using Heatwave the Fire-Bot Bird, he's tough enough to take it. Ignoring some damage may give you time to take the shot!

Sentinel Prime[]

Sentinel Prime is so big and powerful he can roll over anything in his way. Actually he doesn't even have to do that - he just stares at the problem until it gets out of the way.

Sentinel Prime is one of the oldest Transformers, so even though he's ultra-powerful his one weakness is that he has to go for a nap sometimes. He also glowers in that special way only old folks can manage - but as he's so grumpy anyway nobody can tell.

Perhaps his age gives him great wisdom, but since he never speaks we'll never know.

Concentrate on ground based targets and use your other abilities to get away from flying and falling pigs, and especially the missiles!

Sentinel Prime is too slow to outrun threats, so sometimes you'll just have to take the hits. His weapon is devastating to towers, so focus on them first. Just look at all the Coins you're earning!

Ratchet[]

As the Autobird's chief medical officer, it's Ratchet's job to patch up any injuries. But for some reason ever since he teamed up with the intense, silent, staring Terence the number of patients coming to see him has dropped right off... maybe it's something in Terence's bedside manner?

Commom transformer medical problems include "Headmaster Headaches", "Energon Eruptions", and the dreaded "Losing the Instructions So You Can't Change Mode Anymore".

Ratchet has always been a healer and never gets to try to be a warrior, so he's secretly quite enjoying walking in Terence's shoes (that is if Terence wore shoes, or had feet). Now he gets to mend his fellow transformers and also blow stuff up! Boom! Smash! Another Boom!

I guess we'll never know if Terence is also enjoying being teamed up with Ratchet... Speak to me Terence, buddy! No? Okay, one stare for yes, two stares for no...

Ratchet fires a laser up into the sky, which blasts the target from above, Even better, this laser will keep going down past the first thing it makes contact with, so you can bring death from above... y'know, like a mechanic!

Member of squad: Rescue Bots

Vehicle mode: Truck

Tips[]

  • Ratchet, unlike Terence's other characters, is able to hit missiles and pigs with no problem, since he has an electric laser instead of a heatwave.
  • Aim for the side of structures instead of directly in the middle of them. Burning through an armored pig will use up your weapon time, and if there are many blocks in the middle, it's best to start outside and work your way in.

Arcee[]

Don't let her pink color scheme distract you - Arcee is a fearsome warrior and an excellent shot. She leaves it to the clumsy Deceptihogs to blast away wildly - her skill is picking out the exact block that will bring a tower down.

Arcee has always been a fierce fighter, and teaming up with Stella has just added to her headstrong, driven nature.

Every TRANSFORMERS character has their reason for battling the EggBots, but Arcee is thinking about the bigger picture... She figures that if the EggBots succeed in turning Piggy Island into metal they'll be free to turn their attention to other islands, and that's not happening on her watch!

Arcee's weapon is designed to bring down piggy towers with carefully placed precision shots. Blocks that she hits are shoved backwards, meaning she can easily bring down towers that other characters struggle with.

The downside is that her shots do very little damage to armored enemies, so anything that can't be knocked down will give her trouble. Best to use her high speed to outrun danger!

Airachnid[]

Remember how the EggBots created Nemesis Prime to battle the TRANSFORMERS characters but he rebelled against them? Turns out EggBots don't learn too well because they tried it again!

Designed to be a sinister version of Arcee, the only flaw in the EggBot's plan is that they're idiots. Stella and Arcee are as heroic as Red and Optimus Prime, so of course Airachnid immediately joined the battle to save Piggy Island!

Airachnid may have joined the Autobird / Deceptihog alliance, but she still has a little of the EggBot's mischievous personality.

Airachnid roams Piggy Island as a lone warrior, causing trouble for the EggBots by knocking down towers, poking pigs and searching for the Eggspark. But what will she do if she finds it?

Airachnid's weapon follows the same principles as Arcee's, just more extreme! Bring down towers by knocking away the right blocks, but don't expect to destroy tough enemies.

Instead, use Airachnid's speed to transform, not only out-running threats but also causing enemies to shoot too far ahead. Once they've fired at where they expect her to be, transform to slow down and watch the shots fly by!

(Even though Airachnid is starred by Stella, she is actually a Deceptihog)

Chromia[]

Stella-as-Chromia as the mentor and bodyguard of Windblade makes an appearance as the second new character of 2017. Her weapon is a halfway point between Arcee's and Airachnid's, as it fires a rapid succession of bubbles but with a bit of a random spread (not as wide as Airachnid's). Instead of pushing stuck-but-not-destroyed objects though, the bubbles can pull entire groups of objects towards the screen, giving you a really good close-up view of pigs as they fly forward. While this means some risk of taking minor damage from colliding into blocks, it actually makes Chromia the most destructive (and profitable) of the Stellas, as any blocks that go behind the "camera" are instantly destroyed.

Jazz[]

Jazz understands that it's not what you do that counts, but how cool you look doing it. He's stylish and knows it, but doesn't see a need to show off.

Jazz loves Piggy Island's culture, especially music and dancing. His favorite dance moves include the 'Blaster Boogie', the 'Slingshot Shuffle' and the... 'Energon... ShaWhoop... DeDoo'? Yeah, okay, so I made that last one up.

Being transformed by the EggSpark hasn't changed Jazz's love of candy. In fact, (shh, whisper it), he's only battling to save Piggy Island because of all the delicious candy on it!

As one of Optimus Prime's sub-commanders, Jazz is often sent on top-secret missions, He's always calm and cool under pressure... unless there's candy in the area. Then it's CANDY RAMPAGE!

A balanced mix of rapid fire and fast speed means Jazz should take on towers and flying enemies, and dodge tougher threats.

Like most of the light, fast characters, the trick to using Jazz is quickly working out which targets you can take on and which you should leave. You can't shoot everything, dude! Just be cool.

Ricochet[]

Introducing the sharpest of sharpshooters: Ricochet!

When taking on the persona of Ricochet Bird, things get a bit more... tense. Sure, he's still a dancing fool, but he's really touchy and prone to responding to personal slights with a caroming missile, especially if anyone questions his sharpshooting skills. He always enters the Advanced Autobird Autofire Accuracy Assertion to prove he's number one... and also because maybe this time the prize is candy. (Spoilers: it's never candy.)

True to his name, Ricochet's missiles ricochet off their initial target, which can set up some absolutely devastating chain reactions if shot at just the right angle, bouncing up to twice per missile. Given the amount of punch they pack (much higher than Jazz) and steady rate of fire with a very short reload time, Ricochet can obliterate blocks and eliminate enemies with ease. Aim for a Walking Mortar Tower behind a closer one, and let shots bouncing between them destroy them both in seconds. He's not as fleet of foot as Jazz, but he makes up for it with a bit more armor.

Blaster[]

Blaster has always loved rock 'n' roll, but since teaming up with Bubbles his musical tastes have become more... sugary.

Turns out Bubbles' love of candy extends to all things sweet, meaning Blaster's been busting out moves to the latest high-pitched bouncy pop sensation. Have you ever seen a giant robot dancing like your dad? Awk...ward.

Still, Blaster's got it where it counts - those Eggbots are gonna get scrambled!

Blaster's weapon uses rapid-fire sound waves that can penetrate through objects, so try to shoot targets at the back and the ones in the front will be destroyed on the way! instruments of destruction

Blaster's ability is very similar to the others in his squad. He can shoot "soundwaves" that can pass through objects, damaging/destroying them in the process. Because of this, the game recommends that players aim for targets in the back so that the blasts reach the end but also hit anything that may be in their path.

Ultra Magnus[]

Where Optimus Prime is a leader, Ultra Magnus is a dedicated soldier, 100% focused on protecting the innocent. That may make him a bit blunt, sure, but he's got a job to do.

It's his role to take the fight to the Deceptihogs... no, wait, to the Pigs... no, hang on, they're not the bad guys here either... Take the fight to the EggBots! Yeah! Grr!

Ultra Magnus is extremely disciplined when carrying out the mission at hand - and right now that's to end the destruction of Piggy Island and keep the EggBots from trashing everything.

If that means he has to work with the Deceptihogs for a while that's what he'll do. Of course, once the island is safe it's time for a new mission: Operation Splat Those Pigs!

His weapon fires powerful bursts but takes time to reload, so watch out you don't get caught at the wrong moment. Sometimes it's worth holding your fire so he has the chance to reload.

Ultra Magnus has a good mix of power, toughness and speed, but isn't focused on any one thing, so you'll need to adapt to whatever's coming at you. Are you ready, soldier? Yeah? High-five! Yeah!

Bluestreak[]

Here's a question that's puzzled the world's scholars for years - what happens if you give the Blues control of a giant robot body?

Now they've teamed up with Bluestreak the Blues have access to limbs, lasers, and missiles.

Bluestreak is renowned for his pinpoint sharp-shooting skills, but the Blues have more of a 'fire at everything then keep firing then fire some more' attitude. Still, they get the job done - they're having so much fun blasting stuff that they don't notice they're in any danger! Optimus Prime has tried telling them off but it doesn't work - only one of Heatwave's intense stares can get them to obey orders.

Bluestreak's weapon should be familiar to fans of The Blues! Upon impact the bomb splits into three smaller clusters!

The initial impact won't do much damage, so aim where the smaller cluster bombs can hit surrounding objects - These really pack a punch and should be enough to shatter even the strongest tower!

Prowl[]

While some of the Angry Birds and Transformers team-ups work well together, the mix of Prowls' intense logic and the Blues' freewheeling fun has been... complicated.

Prowl wants to plan everything carefully, but the Blues - they don't really 'do' planning!

In the end it was decided that if the Blues want to have fun then it's only logical for Prowl to join in.

Prowl supports Optimus by devising plans and strategies.

Recently, his planning has become more difficult for Prowl. When a long strategy session means all three of your heads fall asleep from boredom it's hard to concentrate over the snoring!

Prowl is all about the power of three! Three Blues, three cluster bombs, and a clip size of three! The bombs fire quickly, so you can use them to snipe at moving enemies!

The clusters will come out thick and fast! Don't expect to be able to predict where they fall - Aim for the center of something big and let the splash damage take care of the rest.

Smokescreen[]

Smokescreen like The Blues, Jay, Jake and Jim are young and eager and always look up to Optimus. All too ready to become a great warrior, maybe even a Prime someday they're always out to impress Red, even at their own risk. Maybe that explains what happened to their eyebows!

The Blues are the pranksters of the flock who love nothing more than playing tricks and getting up to mischief. The phase shifter  is effective at both pranks and combat. Being able to travel through walls has its advantages, much to Ratchet's annoyance."SMOKESCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEN". When caught, they quickly show those helpess puppy eyes and then it's impossible to stay mad at them! Ahhhhhhhhh, so cute. As The Blues are a precocious, eager-to-please and reckless bunch, they match very well with Smokescreen... no, not the one they look like... the other one. That one. Smokescreen, like the other Blues-based characters, lobs bombs into the air to damage targets, and splits into two smaller bombs that falls directly downwards on impact. These bombs also erupt into huge clouds of smoke, which one may assume throws off enemies' targeting skills, but they actually work like Acid Storm Pig's projectiles in both fire rate and effect. But smoke breaks glass more effectively than acid. He's a slow runner with only moderate vehicle speed.

Beachcomber[]

Peace love an freedom are all traits the Autobirds aspire to. Beachcomber tries to embody these ideals however sometiemes you must fight for what you believe in. Although, seeing the aftermath and destruction can sicken him to his spark.

As for The Blues, their youth and childish nature comes out when surfing and skidding around in their new shiny dune buggy chassis to cover others in sand. Which gets everywhere! EVERYWHERE! It is unknown what happened to their parents, but in The Flock with Matilda they've got a gentle mother figure, Red a father figure and Silver as a fellow young prankster.

Beachcomber is an amusingly well- armed vehicle for such a peace-loving Autobird. In an attempt to avoid collateral damage, he now resorts to using sand to annoy and defeat his enemies.

Drift[]

Drift is an ultra-focused, highly disciplined cyber-warrior. Smashing everything may work for Galvatron or Grimlock, but Drift waits patiently for the perfect moment to strike.

The EggSpark instilled a sense of duty and honor in the otherwise volatile Bomb, but now he won't shut up about it. While Drift vows to protect the island from the onslaught of the EggBots, his friends now have to deal with his monologues on mindfulness and purpose.

Drift can often be found meditating, searching for the perfect balance between being a merciless fighter and an all-round ultra-cool dude. He knows it's a long difficult search to find inner calm, but Drift will never give up. Has he tried looking behind the sofa?

Drift's ninja-style tactic of hiding in ambush then bursting out while waving a sword has caused many a pig to suddenly need new underpants! Wait, the pigs don't wear underpants...

Drift fires shurikens that remain lodged in the enemy and explode after a little while. By the time they realize what hit them, you'll be long gone like the ninja robot samurai (seriously, how cool is the fact that he is all three of those at once) you are!

Wheeljack[]

Generally speaking, Bomb is the most chill bird you will ever meet. However, get him worked up and he tends to go off. Despite being zapped by the eggspark, Wheeljack, like Angry Bird Bomb is still his own worst enemy. As the mechanic and inventor of the team, many of his creations explode in his face and that's if he's lucky!

He can be heard in his workshop inventing away with a thump, whack and a bonk, but more commonly you'll hear a hiss followed by a BOOM! Ever so often he appears from his workshop with a useful gadget like the Jackhammer, but for every success, there are multiple times when Ratchet is required to put him and his workshop back together.

Combining Bomb's explosive nature with Wheeljack's explosive inventions can't be good for his productivity in his workshop. Ever so often he does successfully create new (and expensive) gadgets like the miniature Jackhammer, But it probably makes Ratchet all the more grumpy when he has to put him and his workshop back together.

His newest weapon/gadget is a salvo rocket launcher that fires a cluster of lobbed explosive missiles! Much more powerful and effective than those of that yellow Sunstorm Pig.

Warpath[]

They don't call him Warpath beacure he's gentle! Warpath is that army guy we've all seen in the movies. He has no fear and loves to fight for the Autobirds against all opponents.

Warpath's weapon is a piercing instant-hit laser something like the various Galvatron, which obliterates most anything it hits as well as leaving a (weak) vortex in its wake. But the real power comes once he's leveled up a bit, which adds a hefty splash-damage explosion on contact with a target. Warpath can vaporize whole block towers with a single shot, and never needs to reload to boot!

But he does have one huge weakness: overheating. Too much rapid tap-blasting will make his gun overheat, and when targeting things that take more than one direct hit to destroy, such as Walking Mortar Tower, his weapon fires extremely rapidly and will overheat extremely quickly. The cooldown from an overheat takes several seconds, leaving him vulnerable, so tap responsibly, learn to un-target Mortar Towers quickly after one or two hits... and try to get some of his cooldown-improving accessories quickly!

Grapple[]

Generally speaking, Bomb is the most chill bird you will ever meet. However, get him worked up and he tends to go off! On Cybertron Grapple was quite the architect and in his spark an artist.

During the war his 'art' was demolished! This is when he blew his fuse and joined the war effort with the Autobirds! Here he befriended Hoist who tends to calm his artistic temperament down.

His weapon seems appropriate to his name, in that it grapples objects which can then be used to hit other objects until they are dropped or destroyed. Try picking up pigs and then dropping them or grab a block and smash it into other blocks or pigs until it breaks and you grab something else to smash.

In battle, Grapple is rather unusual. His weapon is a lightning beam attack, but in terms of attack power, it's extremely weak, even at level 15, de-cyberforming scenery slower than Optimus Prime. Combined with his somewhat weak health makes him seem rather useless. However, if there is a close enough block or grounded pig to where the weapon starts firing, the nearest block or grounded pig will be teleported to that location. It can then be dragged around, and if the weapon stops in some way that involves becoming a different form, (vehicle, washing machine, scrambled body) it will be immobilized in place until he returns to humanoid form.

Nemesis Prime[]

Nemesis Prime was created to be a dark opposite of Optimus Prime, to cause mayhem and trouble whenever he want. But the EggBots had forgotten two things: Angry Bird Red is a hero! And Optimus Prime is a hero!

So now Nemesis Prime fights for good; helping his teammates battle to reclaim Piggy Island! Ha! In your eggy face, silly EggBots!

Nemesis Prime's anti-gravity gun doesn't do much damage per shot. Instead, it launches pigs and blocks into the air and lets gravity do the rest!

To ensure that you get maximum lift, aim directly at pigs or for the top few blocks of the tower.

Windblade[]

Windblade and Silver have a lot in common - Windblade was raised on Caminus rather than Cybertron and Silver was raised by the Pigs! Talk about being born in a barn! It sure beats being turned into a cyber-omelet though!

Even though she may be an outsider, she knows which side to fight for and doesn't hesitate to get stuck into the battle for Piggy Island! I certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of those expert sword skills!

They say every cloud has a silver lining, and on Piggy Island this is quite literary true! You'll often see Windblade flying through the clouds at supersonic speeds, doing loop-the loops and barrel rolls. When she sees some blue sky, she sometimes skywrites rude messages to the Eggbots!

Windblade's weapon unleashes a trio of superfast, unstable balls of energy. The projectile's unstable nature causes them to repulse upwards! Windblade has expert depth perception and knows just how to sling these projectiles, so don't worry about hitting what you're aiming at.

When shooting towers, make sure to aim higher up than usual. If you aim too low the projectiles might hit the floor before they get to the target.

Elita One is powerful and fearless in the face of the enemy, but Silver always adds a bit of humour to awkward situations due to her pig upbringing. Some say they can hear her oink whilst asleep and when she thinks no-one is looking eats as if from a troth!

Mainly known as a renowned Autobird resistance leader, a female counterpart to Optimus Red, she leads the Female Autobirds to keep The Eggs safe from the devious hoofs of the Deceptihogs

!MISSING STRING!

Elita One brings the nonstop barrage of blaster bolts to the Autobird team. Her weapon is similar to Thundercracker and Energon Starscream, a rapid-fire machinegun of weak bolts that nonetheless add up damage quickly, with no reloading or overheating. She adds a new trick to this though, with the bullets having a ricochet effect that can devastate close arrangements of blocks or Pigs! This weapon is best employed by dragging the crosshair around to keep up the assault rather than tapping.

At least his new legs have caterpillar tracks for feet, so he can trundle around Piggy Island in comfort and style.

A fine, noble, brave and selfless ruler, Megatron leads the Deceptihogs in their never-ending quest for the Eggs.

Megatron is obsessed with getting his trotters on the EggSpark and all its Energon. If that means he needs to work with the Autobirds for a while then so be it!

Megatron's weapon is enormously powerful and hits a huge area, so there's almost nothing that can stand up to him. Anything that isn't instantly destroyed gets sucked into the black-hole and then dropped on the floor!

Being transformed has made life much more fun for this pig! Now he doesn't get ordered to do stupid stuff by King Pig, instead he gets ordered to do stupid stuff by Megatron... Which is much better... Because of... Reasons.

Unfortunately, Starscream is a mix of cunning, intelligence, and skill mixed with the ultimate stupidity of a minion pig. Oops... Starscream was born to lead the Deceptihogs, it's just annoying that Megatron doesn't understand this.

No matter how cunning his schemes are, they never seem to quite work, and for some reason, Megatron forgives his treacherous backstabbing. Every. Single. Time.

  • Starscream's ray shots immediately stun enemies, like a fully-charged electro blast. Use this to one-shot any airborne enemies.
  • Also, use it to temporarily knock out pigs and destroy blocks to kill them
  • When the null ray hits its target, the target will take damage over time. However, you are better off shooting it because lasting damage isn't that strong.
  • Like other characters with laser-based attacks, Starscream has no trouble destroying missiles
  • Note that Starscream does NOT disable falling monoloths, but he can disable walking mortar towers.

Thundercracker[]

The EggSpark's arrival may have driven most of the Minion Pigs on the island crazy, but a few were lucky enough to avoid it. And among those, one brave, noble Pig became Thundercracker.

One of the elite 'Seeker Pigs' alongside Starscream, Thundercracker isn't too committed to the war - he just loves to fly! And if he gets to unleash his devastating sonic boom that's even better.

Thundercracker may not be too bright, but he doesn't have a care in the world. He finds everything funny, especially if it's another Pig being squashed, blown up or zapped.

Thundercracker's weapon doesn't do loads of damage but it fires extremely quickly, never overheats and never reloads. It's the perfect weapon for a Minion Pig - if it moves, shoot it! If it doesn't move shoot it anyway!

Dead End[]

We are doomed. Dead End has eternal depression, and he whines about everything - about the battles in which he participated, about the excessive fluffiness of his moustache, and sometimes about life in general. Okay, that's enough! It's a computer game! About birds. Evil birds! And disguised robots! You have to calm down, or you'll break the roof, and you'll be like Grandfather's End! Although what else to expect from the Moustache Pig after the Energy Egg? Despite eternal pessimism, he always wants to look good, but the other Deceptihogs only laugh at how he cleans everything, and this makes him even darker. Once in a difficult situation, he always whins that both he and everyone who is around... Well, they're doomed. The soul of the company, isn't it? Do you want to know what he thinks about all this yateboat curl? You don't have to ask: we are doomed. Dead End's weapon is a shotgun with a large scatter, so that the enemy certainly does not leave. Under his sight, it will certainly seem to your enemies that they have been driven into a blind corner!

Barricade[]

Moustache pig has fully embraced becoming a police officer. He's even taken up eating donuts. Nom nom nom.

He's still adjusting and practising Reading others their rights. “You have to right to scream for mercy… cough, errr I mean remain silent… cough, forever”

As Barricade he lead Cybertron's racing gangs and was just plain mean about it. Absolutely no-one gets in his way, and even the other. Deceptihogs fear him.

In his spare time, he likes to just patrol the island and warns the others for misdemeanours as an excuse to use his sirens. Woop woop

Barricade fires a spread of taser bullets to subdue and punish those hit. It's great for detaining those pesky flying swarms and mortar towers.

Bludgeon[]

Brawl's weapon fires two shots in quick succession but then takes time to reload. Timing your shots and the reload wait is key to getting the best results with him.

Galvatron is the most powerful Deceptihog and he knows it. He's driven by a need to conquer everyone and everything. Yikes!

Galvatron answers to no-one, and believes that only he has the power and authority to lead the Deceptihogs. Not sure how Megatron is going to react to all this, but I'm guessing it's not going to be good.

Of course there are the EggBots to deal with first. Not because they're transforming Piggy Island, but because the EggBots can lead Galvatron to the EggSpark...

Galvatron's weapon is incredibly powerful but focused on a single point, so all that power is wasted if you use it on ice or wooden blocks. Aim for stone blocks or the most dangerous enemy on-screen first, then mop up the rest of the puny targets.

Shockwave is as big and powerful as Megatron, and the two have often 'argued' over who should lead the Deceptihogs. Of course that's all sorted now because they're both joined by King Pig! Glory to the pigs! It's time to rise up and against the Angry Birds! Wait, no, we're working with the Birds to get the Eggspark aren't we? Wow, that could have been embarrassing.

Shockwave is 100% driven by cold, unfeeling logic, and will do whatever it takes to complete his mission.

Unfortunately, he's been joined by King Pig.

King Pig is 100% NOT driven by logic, but he will do whatever it takes to get the eggs. As long as whatever it takes is him sitting around while the minion pigs rush around doing the work. Well, he is the king, right?

Shockwave's gun fires a powerful energy beam which not only damages the target, but will continue through it to whatever is behind!. You can use this to ignite hidden TNT blocks or hiding pigs without destroying what's in your way.

The gun will overheat if fired too often, so make sure to pick your targets carefully.

Skywarp[]

ABTransformersSkywrap

This Deceptihog, who resembles a black-and-purple recolor of Minion Pig as Starscream, used to appear when an Autobird or Deceptihog summons him to perform an Energon Airstrike (now performed when the Strikebot is activated). He also used to have the power to destroy every event you request with the power of your gems. "Skywarp Attack" been removed in Halloween update. In another update, he was made a playable character. Because of this, if strikebot is used, a Minion colored like a generic Seeker (he sports a unique color scheme none of the named seekers have) will deliver Energon Airstrikes instead.

Skywarp's weapon is a non-stop firing gun that launches Incendiary rockets. Blast a woodblock about three times to make sure other blocks burn down.

Sunstorm[]

Sunstorm appeared in Angry Birds Transformers in an update along with Starscream and Skywarp. It can be obtained in the "Find and Destroy" event. It has a golden color with white and orange spots. The ability of the character is to shoot volleys of missiles; Jazz has a similar ability. The rest of the characteristics he is no different from Esidstorm and his ilk. At the moment, Sunstorm can be obtained in chests or in the Spire Shockwave mode..

This Deceptihog (depicted as a purple-and-gray spaceship that turns into a train after landing and vice versa) is responsible for transporting both Autobirds and Deceptihogs to and from areas that were roboticized by the Eggbots. Sometimes Astrotrain will drop other Autobirds or Deceptihogs to assist the player's avatar. If said avatar reaches the end, other Transformers will be waiting outside Astrotrain on the other side before boarding him and flying away. If you lose all your health resulting in you failing the level, Astrotrain will fly in and beam the beaten-up Autobird or Deceptihog away. However, you may continue playing if you use 10 gems. In more recent updates, Astrotrain now has a Deceptihog symbol on his train cab that's scratched out and replaced with a smiley face to show that the Autobirds and Deceptihogs are teaming up to stop the Eggbots and save their island. He and Professor Pig are the only ones who can't be playable, and therefore don't transform. Astrotrain doesn't have a pig head! It's revealed in Energon Lockdown's cutscene that Astrotrain doesn't have a robot mode, as he is shown performing various activities while standing on top of very skinny legs.

Pigbots[]

The main enemies of the games, these are basically Bad Piggies that were turned into robots by the Eggbots that aren't Deceptihogs. Although at least one of them became Starscream, many of them are basically robotic Minion Pigs who've betrayed the Deceptihogs and are attacking them and the Autobirds. Defeating Pigbots can allow the rescued Transformers to try and rescue other Autobirds and Deceptihogs. But not all of the minion pigs became pigbots. Some lived their lives as normal pigs hidden away from the Eggbots, and two of them became Starscream and Thundercracker.

Regular Pigbots[]

Happy pigbots
Pigbots gunners
Blind pigbots
Rocket pigbots
Elite pigbots

These enemies are the most basic and common type of enemies. Most wield laser weapons and will shoot at the player upon sight. Others simply bounce around and/or stare at the player. They can easily be defeated in a few shots or by causing them to fall from great heights by destroying their towers, as mentioned above. Some Pigbots wear helmets, and can withstand more damage. Pigbots' health increases on harder difficulties.

There are 6 regular pigbots (note that these are not official names):

  • Normal- just laughs and does nothing. Typical
  • Helmet pig- shoots lasers in random directions because his helmet is over his eyes.
  • Shooter- fires a normal laser.
  • Missile pig- fires a slow-moving missile that does high damage, but is easy to dodge.
  • Bazooka pig- fires two rounds of 4 lasers
  • Sniper pig- rapidly fires a small laser that does not do much damage, but always reaches its target.

Flying Pigbots[]

Flying Pigbots appear as regular pigs with a propeller attached to them. Some also wear helmets, giving them more health than those without. Though incredibly weak, they are incredibly dangerous in numbers, especially on harder difficulties. They attack the player with laser weapons. If not defeated within a few seconds, they will self destruct onto the player, causing the player to lose health. They will also self destruct immediately when the player is in vehicle form. This attack can be incredibly dangerous on higher difficulties.

However, on the bright side, these enemies can be defeated with one to two shots (three to four on hard difficulties). Shots from regular Pigbots can also deplete these enemies' health as well and defeat them. Energon EMP Stunners come in handy to take down these enemies when in numbers. Energon Shields are also very effective against numbers of flying Pigbots, especially when using characters who cannot directly attack them, such as Heatwave or Sentinel Prime.

Falling Pigbots[]

Falling pigbots

Falling Pigbots appear as pigs attached to balloons wielding fireworks. They attempt to slowly float down onto the player, causing the player to lose health if they successfully collide into him. They are quite durable, however, an easy way to take them down is to shoot their balloon, causing them to fall and pop instantly.

Sharkticon Pigbots (Sharktihogs)[]

Sharktihogs

As their names suggest, these are Pigbots that dress up like sharks that jump out of the water and start chasing your Transformer. They appear in Cobalt Plateaus events and they rarely appear in South Beach events.

Other Pigs[]

Batpigs[]

Batpigs

Batpigs appear as dark pigs with wings and are the only enemies so far to not resemble robots in any way. Batpigs are unarmed and even though they will fly into the player after a few seconds if not shot down, they will not deal damage when doing this. Batpigs are only found in cave levels.

Unicron Pig[]

Unicron Pig appears only in challenge events. When you see him, there is a long bar on the screen. He has a shield surrounding him and you can only shoot him when his shield is down. He fires pigs that are on fire. Unicron Pig (when shot dead) will leave the screen in flaming scars. However draining his healthbar can be impossible especially when dealing with Flying Pigs, Mortar Towers, Monoliths, and other obstacles.
