As the Allspark transformed the Birds and the Pigs into the Autobirds and Deceptihogs, who were each of the characters were based off on, so here is a list of all the Transformers Characters that the birds and pigs portray in Angry Birds Transformers.

Long ago, he was the humble leader of Cybertron's science division, which studied the AllSpark, and were protected by Lord High Protector Megatron's military. When Megatron was corrupted by The Fallen, Optimus discovered that he was the last of the Dynasty of Primes, hidden away when The Fallen destroyed their lineage. In response to Megatron's attempts to seize the AllSpark and conquer other worlds, Optimus assumed his proper title and rallied the Autobots to stand against the Decepticons.

As obsessively as Megatron strives to achieve his objective, Optimus is equally as dedicated to stopping him, even at the cost of his life, his world, and—if necessary—his own people. It was on his order that the AllSpark was jettisoned into space, dooming Cybertron to a slow death and his people to a nomadic life. The sacrifices he has made weigh heavily on his spark, but they must be done, for there is no other choice. He knows the ambitions that lurk in Megatron's spark, and they must never see the light of day. Lives must be kept free from the threat of Megatron's tyranny, no matter the cost. This obsession with the defeat of Megatron has robbed Optimus of some of his early idealism. This has created a certain ruthlessness beneath his otherwise honest and caring personality. Prime is not one for second chances and is willing to consider any action that might lead to victory, short of directly sacrificing those he cares about.

Although he is not the strongest or most powerful of the Autobots, Bumblebee more than makes up for this with a bottomless well of luck, determination and bravery. He would gladly give his life to protect others and stop the Decepticons.

  +
Badly damaged in battle, Bumblebee lost the ability to speak verbally, though he can still communicate over inter-Autobot frequencies (in a fashion that seems somewhat akin to instant messaging, a usable but more distant and less personal means of interaction). He can also communicate with the Autobots' human allies and his friend, Sam Witwicky, by playing audio clips from popular media on his radio. Though he has these stable forms of communication, Bumblebee would love nothing more than to finally get his voice back someday.

  +
As the battles on Earth have raged on and more of their old friends have perished in the fighting, Bumblebee has found himself forced to step up as acting Autobot leader whenever Optimus isn't around. This stint at leadership isn't exactly going that well, as not only are there barely any surviving Autobots around to lead, not many of them respect his authority. Bumblebee's trying his best, but he shows all the signs of a young 'bot forced to grow up too fast, with his impulsiveness sometimes giving the Autobots as much trouble as their adversaries.

Believing he is nothing but a soldier, Ultra Magnus is perfectly willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good if need be. He knows he's more powerful than the average Autobot, and will throw himself at larger threats accordingly. He is respected by both the Autobots and Decepticons, due to his courage and self-sacrifice. There is a special enmity between him and Galvatron for this reason, for Galvatron may be the most deadly foe of all. (Also, Galvatron, given his mental state, probably doesn't approve of people he's had blown up getting back up afterward. This can be seen as a sore point for Magnus, too.) Clear

But when Sentinel was presumably lost forever aboard the Ark, Optimus Prime, his hand-picked successor, was left to fill his void. The loss of Sentinel signaled the end of Cybertron's golden age, and the planet spiraled deeper into war. Some who recall Sentinel's reign bitterly remember when Transformers were masters of their fate, rather than scattered to the stars and living as exiles. Jazz's upbeat and outgoing personality makes him one of the most popular Autobots among the Ark's crew.

An admirer of Earth music of every kind, Jazz loves culture. Prowl's dedication to logic and reason make him an excellent strategist, but not much of a socialite. He really doesn't tend to get along well with his fellow Autobots, many of whom find his strict adherence to military protocol stifling, and his uptight personality sure doesn't help matters. He does not react well to the unexpected, to the point that it can literally scramble his cerebral circuits. The Dinobot commander Grimlock, who is disorder made manifest, especially honks Prowl off, and Grimlock feels pretty much the same way in return, only with more swear words. His constant need to invent increasingly complex devices stems from his desire to improve the Autobots' tech, but as a result he's simultaneously one of the Autobots' greatest assets and problems; for every successful gadget he builds, there's one which requires Ratchet or Hoist to put him (and his lab) back together. Nautica's upbeat demeanor conceals the mind of a brilliant intellectual. Whether she's tackling quantum mechanics with the help of her trusty wrench or negotiating a ceasefire between warring alien races, she brings an impressive command of engineering, literature, cartography, moral philosophy, and linguistics to the table, and this wealth of knowledge makes an invaluable asset on just about any given adventure.

Starscream
  +
Starscream is the treacherous Decepticon Air Commander and the deadliest of the Seekers. The self-proclaimed pride of the Cybertron War Academy he's famous not only for his incredible skill, but also for his limitless (and troublesome) ambition. Starscream believes that he is more suited for command than Decepticon leader Megatron. Thankfully for Megatron, Starscream's mutinous, power-grabbing plots are almost always transparent, and he can never muster up enough patience to complete a grandiose power play. Even on the few times he has taken command of the Decepticons, he quickly loses control of a situation, but is too arrogant to realize when he's in over his head. He never learns from his mistakes, but then again, Megatron doesn't either, seeing as how he's never turned Starscream into slag. Despite his constant failures, Starscream believes it is only a matter of time before he prevails—his destiny is inevitable.

  +
Starscream's never-give-up attitude extends even to the afterlife: unlike most Transformers, he has a mutant, indestructible spark. His life-force cannot be destroyed and can persist even without a body to contain it. However, there is no indication that Starscream (or anybody else) was aware of this fact prior to his destruction.

Thundercracker
  +
Thundercracker claims the skies as his arena. He looks down in contempt on those who cannot leave the ground — he considers them lesser beings. He will often attack the flightless beings below him for no other reason than to satisfy his scorn.

  +
His superiority in this realm is the only thing he is sure of. Thundercracker is not entirely committed to the Decepticon cause, and even has some seemingly contradictory sympathy for the humans they terrorize. Fear of retribution from Megatron and the influence of his peers is usually enough to bury these doubts. Regardless, he needs constant reassurance from Skywarp and Starscream (which occasionally take the form of threats) that he's where he needs to be. Sometimes, his heart's just not in the job.
  +

  +
Skywarp
  +
Teleportation is a dangerous tool in the hands of a capable adversary. Thankfully for the Autobots, Skywarp is the only Decepticon known to possess that ability. Skywarp's not terribly bright, to the point where he's practically worthless as a warrior without direct and constant supervision. Left on his own, he's much, much more likely to use his amazing teleportation power to pull off really immature pranks on anyone close by, be it enemy or "friend". He takes a charmingly puerile angle at thuggery, so his pranks are well-received amongst his Decepticon peers (except the victim, of course).

  +
Because, come on, a surprise push down a staircase is hilarious.

Though "only" Communications Officer, Soundwave stands at Megatron's side as a confidant, comparable in rank to Starscream and Shockwave, but unlike them, entirely loyal to his leader. Though stoic and possessed of little outward personality (as evidenced by his monotone computer-style speech), Soundwave is not without drives: he has worked hard to get where he is, and he guards his place in the Decepticon hierarchy fiercely. On top of hearing all in his role as Communications Officer and Decepticon spy-master, he is actually capable of "reading minds" by scanning and decoding the electrical impulses that carry "thoughts" in both organics and Cybertronians, and he will not hesitate to use what he learns as blackmail to keep himself high in Megatron's esteem. As such, Soundwave is not popular among the rank-and-file Decepticons, who see him as a two-faced snake and wouldn't mind abandoning him on the battlefield—if they thought Megatron would let them get away with it.

As the Allspark transformed the Birds and the Pigs into the Autobirds and Deceptihogs, who were each of the characters were based off on, so here is a list of all the Transformers Characters that the birds and pigs portray in Angry Birds Transformers.

All of the characters are listed in the order they appeared in the game as well as what they have a strong resemblance to

Autobots

Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots.

Prime is not one for second chances and is willing to consider any action that might lead to victory, short of directly sacrificing those he cares about.[1]

Notes

 • Optimus' Star Saber accessory is based off the weapon of the same name introduced in Transformers Prime.
 • Billy appears as a hat.

Bumblebee

Bumblebee is one of Optimus Prime's most trusted lieutenants. Although he is not the strongest or most powerful of the Autobots, Bumblebee more than makes up for this with a bottomless well of luck, determination and bravery. He would gladly give his life to protect others and stop the Decepticons.

Bumblebee's trying his best, but he shows all the signs of a young 'bot forced to grow up too fast, with his impulsiveness sometimes giving the Autobots as much trouble as their adversaries.[2]

Notes

 • Chuck's Classic Bumblebee variant is based on Bumblebee's design in his solo film.

Heatwave

The team leader of the Rescue Bots, Heatwave was given his position because of how deeply he cares for his team and their mission. However, he is a bot of action at heart who dreams of one day joining Team Prime, and sometimes has little patience for anything he sees as getting in the way of his mission, including staying in disguise as non-sentient vehicles and working with human partners.

When he goes into action, though, no blaze is too strong for his armor. With built-in water cannons, a rescue hook, and a fireman's axe, he's well prepared to take on the most stubborn fires and most intense rescue missions. He partners with the other Rescue Bots and with their newest human teammates, Kade and Cody Burns, though he and Kade are frequently at odds as their egos clash.[3]

Ultra Magnus

Ultra Magnus feels he is a soldier and nothing more. He very much prefers taking orders to giving them, and even avoids opportunities for higher responsibility. But when he is forced into those opportunities, he betrays his real talent for the job. He's strong, resolute, dependable, selfless, and courageous. Sadly, Ultra Magnus is the only Autobot who doesn't realize this.

This can be seen as a sore point for Magnus, too.) [4]

Sentinel Prime

Sentinel Prime hails from an older time when Cybertron was the galaxy's crown jewel and the Transformer race was full of promise and potential. The only known remaining Prime, he personified what a leader should be: wise, compassionate, and a more than worthy warrior. Revered by both Autobot and Decepticon, few would dare stand against his shield and Primax Blade.

Above all, Sentinel Prime is a staunch patriot. He loves his home planet with all of his Spark and will do anything—even go to extremes—to protect it.[5]

Jazz

Jazz is Optimus Prime's right-hand man. Unlike Prowl, Prime's military strategist, Jazz responds well to change and improvisation. Whatever surprises the Decepticons spring, Jazz can deal with it. His position as Special Operations head calls for all the skills he possesses, yet he still has time to add some style to everything he does. Jazz's upbeat and outgoing personality makes him one of the most popular Autobots among the Ark's crew.

An admirer of Earth music of every kind, Jazz loves culture. More than most other Autobots, he has his finger on the pulse of Earth trends and lingo, effortlessly incorporating human slang into his vocabulary. Chances are, Jazz could tell you the status of almost any reality television show and each week's Top 40 list.[6]

Grimlock

Arcee

Airachnid

Bluestreak

Prowl

Prowl is the Autobot military strategist. As such, Autobot Commander Optimus Prime keeps Prowl near at hand for his indispensable expertise. Prowl is quiet, competent, loyal, and possessed of almost endless patience.

He's very fond of his acid pellets, though.[7]

Notes

 • Prowl's pairing against Soundwave in the Season 4 War Pass is a reference in the 4th episode in the Generation 1 cartoon where he, along with Datsun brother Bluestreak, chase after Soundwave after a failed Decepticon plan.

Nemesis Prime

Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime

Windblade

Ratchet

Ricochet

Drift

Wheeljack

Wheeljack is his own worst enemy. Something of a crackpot inventor, a good half of his creations blow up in his face, and that's just if he's lucky. But once in a while he strikes gold, which has won him respect from even the Decepticons.

He is, however, not a complete nerd. As good as he is in the lab, Wheeljack is just as amazing on the road: there are few stunts he can't pull off, and he loves to show off his driving skills as much as he does his inventions. He is, however, a little less confident when it comes to flying, which he accomplishes using solid-fuel rocket jets in his forearms.[8]

Notes

 • In the Angry Birds Transformers game, Wheeljack shares a similar body-type to Jazz and his mold mate Drift.

Smokescreen

Chromia

Nautica

Nautica's upbeat demeanor conceals the mind of a brilliant intellectual. Whether she's tackling quantum mechanics with the help of her trusty wrench or negotiating a ceasefire between warring alien races, she brings an impressive command of engineering, literature, cartography, moral philosophy, and linguistics to the table, and this wealth of knowledge makes an invaluable asset on just about any given adventure.

Despite this wealth of knowledge, Nautica can be a bit socially clueless and has sometimes struggled with the feeling that she doesn't always fit in with her fellow Autobots. Indeed, she's often happiest when she's away from her homeworld and exploring the wider galaxy, where she can put her submarine alternate mode and its limited spaceflight capabilities to better use.[9]

Decepticons

Starscream

Thundercracker claims the skies as his arena. He looks down in contempt on those who cannot leave the ground — he considers them lesser beings. He will often attack the flightless beings below him for no other reason than to satisfy his scorn.

Skywarp

Teleportation is a dangerous tool in the hands of a capable adversary. Thankfully for the Autobots, Skywarp is the only Decepticon known to possess that ability. Skywarp's not terribly bright, to the point where he's practically worthless as a warrior without direct and constant supervision. Left on his own, he's much, much more likely to use his amazing teleportation power to pull off really immature pranks on anyone close by, be it enemy or "friend". He takes a charmingly puerile angle at thuggery, so his pranks are well-received amongst his Decepticon peers (except the victim, of course).

Because, come on, a surprise push down a staircase is hilarious.

Sunstorm

If bright colors are nature's way of saying "do not touch", then nature's got nothin' on Sunstorm. Come too close, and circuits will short, steel housing will begin to melt, and psyches will break as the mind struggles to comprehend. Science would explain that his body is aflame in radiation, but Sunstorm has different ideas.

Sometimes, Sunstorm merely believes he is secretly some kind of supernatural being, keeping his comrades away with his odd behavior. At other times, he thinks that he is the living embodiment of the Will of Primus, placed by the divine in this universe to deal righteous judgment on the blasphemous. Occasionally, he just hovers silently in the background and shoots at things.

Such is life.[10]

Soundwave

Soundwave (aka Soundblaster) is one of Megatron's most reliable troops, and he has positioned himself comfortably and irreplaceably in the Decepticon upper command structure. They are also not Soundwave's only diminutive partners: as an Action Master, he is partnered with Wingthing.[11]

Slipstream

Slipstream is the Starscream clone that raises the most questions. She possesses considerable strategic thinking, a biting sense of humor, and a short temper. Like all of the clones, she represents an aspect of the original Starscream's personality... though which aspect that is, he's better off not asking (or so she says).[12]

As the captain of an elite Seeker unit (and later the commander), Slipstream is really good at bossing others around and even better at thinking up ways to destroy the Autobots. Even Bumblebee finds her leadership skills to be effective.
