Coffee power houses Starbucks has recently announced that they may be bringing Angry Birds to their restaurants soon. They are currently involved in talking to Rovio Mobile about the possibility of putting scoreboards in their stores. These scoreboards would display the scores of people playing Angry Birds in their store. Senior vice president of Rovio stated "It's tying in the real world with the virtual world. Retailers get new customers who've not been to their stores yet, and repeat customers."
This isn't the first time that scoreboards have been integrated into a real-life environment. The leaderboards were originally tested at Barnes and Nobles where over 10,000 users spent thirty plus minutes playing the game.
