The Angry Birds Go Weekly Tournament is here since the May 2014 update (Version 1.3.0) which added the last two tracks of Sub Zero.

How to win Weekly Tournament

To win the Weekly Tournament, you have to take part in each of the events to set a score. The player with the highest overall score wins big!

Lucky Box

The Lucky Box was added in the July 2014 update of Angry Birds GO!. You get a Lucky Box if you are in the top 3. The prize of the Lucky Box can be anything: coins, gems, power-ups or even karts. The first place prize is mostly gems, but it can be a kart too. It is uncertain, but it's most likely that to win a kart, aside from getting the top score overall, you also need to: 3-star all the tournament levels, beat an actual friend's score (the victory over just Red and Chuck might not count) and to send 1 or more Lucky Boxes to your friends.

Events

• Time Boom: Dodge obstacles and get to the finish line before the time explodes.
• Race: A classic race with seven other racers. To pass this event, finish in the Top 3.
• Fruit Splat: Race against minion pigs and splat the fruits until the bar is empty.
• Ice Splat: Race against minion pigs and splat ice cream until the bar is empty.
• Slalom: A combination of Time Boom and Fruit Splat where players need to get through the gates before the time runs, but mainly just finish the race in a time limit. But beware, missing a gate will make the game spawn 5 TNT's in front of the player. This is inspired by slalom skiing.
• Champion Chase: A duel with a racer that constantly uses his/her power.

Day Limit/Time Limit

The Day Limit shows how many days left until the end of the tournament (e.g. 6 more days left in the Weekly Tournament). The Time Limit replaced the Day Limit on the July 2014 update and shows how many hours, minutes, and seconds left until the end of the tournament (e.g. 23:59:59 until the end of the tournament).

Racing limits

When the Weekly Tournament first appeared, there were no limitations, as in, the player could replay the tournament levels as many times as he/she likes and the characters didn't lose their cupcakes. But since the July 2014 update, the characters' cupcakes ARE used up. In addition, to replay a tournament level, the player has to pay 50 coins (which frankly isn't that much), and after a single replay, the coins are increasing.

• In the earlier tournaments, in the box that said event types for Champion Chase said "Time Boom".
